Be it tempeh or tofu, both foods come from the same source: soy. So, they are very similar. But the fermentation process helps tempeh lead to nutritional benefits. However, tempeh has more protein, dietary fiber and vitamins compared to tofu. Also, it is less processed. So, it can be considered healthier.
